Service description
GentleObit provides AI-assisted bilingual obituary and memorial writing. It helps you organize real memories and does not replace the judgment of family members, funeral professionals, lawyers, or professional translators.
Accounts and content
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for the material you submit. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, malicious, or unauthorized material. Always review names, dates, places, relationships, and ceremony details before sharing AI-generated writing.
Credits, payments, and refunds
Each credit creates one bilingual obituary and online memorial page. Credits do not expire and do not renew automatically. If generation fails, the credit is automatically returned. Payments are processed by Stripe; other refund requests are reviewed according to the transaction, applicable law, and payment-channel rules.
Generated content
You retain the applicable rights to material you submit. You may use generated writing for family remembrance, obituaries, and related non-commercial purposes, provided you do not infringe another person's rights. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or similar to other writing, so review it before publication.
Availability and termination
We work to keep the service reliable, but maintenance, third-party outages, network issues, and other events may cause interruptions. We may limit or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, infringement, attacks, or violations of these terms.
